“Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” (translated as “Festival of the Anniversary of Independence”) is an initiative launched by the Government of India to commemorate and celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence from British colonial rule. The initiative aims to honor the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and to promote a sense of patriotism and national pride among the citizens of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fueled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat The official journey of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav commenced on 12th March 2021 which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence and will end post a year on 15th August 2023.
