The auditorium is used for activities such as seminars, guest lectures, cultural activities, department functions and other events. The auditorium is equipped with latest public addressing,LCD projectors, slide projectors and comfortable seats.
The serene atmosphere in the canteen has transformed it to one of the most popular places for the students. The area is attractively designed with proper seating arrangements and has become a place for relaxation and discussion.
A spacious, hygienic and well maintained canteen caters to the wide range of taste for the students from all over the country; from morning to the late hours in the evening. Canteen facility is available to students and faculty both. It is operative during college hours. Some of the snacks served in the canteen are very good quality and reasonably priced.
MGEC Hostel is the only hostel which is enabled with internet and Wi-Fi which provides you easy access to the Internet.
MGEC Hostel Security on the hostel is ensured by constant vigilance and surveillance with the help of security guard.
Mess facility is an integral part of the hostel, which provides wholesome and nourishing homely food.We serve only vegetarian food.
MGEC Hostel contains well furnished & Ventilated Rooms which are available on single, double & triple sharing. The Room are with or without lat-bath , Coolers and Geyser.
MGEC has a very spacious, modern library which is extremely rich in resources for learning, research and general awareness.
Latest information in terms of text & reference books, magazines, periodicals, journals, CD’s and videos have been procured for intellectual nourishment. The collection of books in the library covers almost all the thrust areas of Engineering. Apart from test & reference books, reputed national and international journals are subscribed to provide latest information on various subjects of study. College also provides Book bank facility through which each student gets requisite books for all subjects according to academic requirements in each semester. This facility is additional to entitlement of books issued on library card.
Smart class is an effective way of teaching method. It is entirely different from the old way of teaching by writing on black boards. In this new era era of technology smart class is a step towards development. Here projectors or screens are raised where students can visualize and learn almost everything . They get a chance to see the experiments, incidents etc. They can hear,see and learn through smart class. It is an interesting method of learning and students get a chance to escape from the boredom of sleepy classes.
The institution possesses large cricket, football & basketball playgrounds and gymnasium for physical fitness of the students and a common room to provide space for indoor recreational activities.
MGEC manages and supports several instructional/computer labs available to the College of Engineering faculty, staff and students. We also manage and support a number of departmental computer labs throughout the college. The engineering labs are on a rotational upgrade plan to ensure that they have the technology available that engineering students require.
The institution has its own pick and drop facility for the students and staff, covering the entire city. The students can avail themselves of the same transport facility for industrial visit and educational tours.
